Roots Roasting - Saint Paul

I enjoyed the cold brew so much that I had to give it a 5-star rating!

The espresso was excellent. They noticed that it was not pulling right and adjusted it. That shows a real passion for quality.

First amd foremost, the coffee was great. The roast wasn 't too string but wasn 't weak, you could call it the goldilocks of coffee roast. Got the Something Fun , which today was a cinnamon and honey latte. I 'm making an assumption that changes on a rotating basis. One of the biggest reason for the star loss was lack of flavor options. Vanilla was pretty much it. If you 're looking for a plain roast bean brew though, this is probably the right place for you.

The coffee is incredibly smooth and the baked goods are delicious. This might just become my new favorite coffee spot!

I had a delicious chai latte made with soy milk! The staff were very friendly. Just a heads up, the regular coffee is extremely hot, so be cautious when drinking it. However, the Ethiopian drip coffee has a light, beer-like flavor that even non-coffee drinkers might enjoy! I also appreciate that their to-go cups are compostable—thank you for caring about the environment! Lastly, for those who are particular about their milk, they only offer whole milk, heifer milk, and soy milk. So if you're a fan of skim (non-fat) or almond milk, soy might be your best option here!
