Bidrage med feedbackSalmon was a little overcooked, service a little slow. But overall a wonderful meal and I love the vibe.
Expecting great food and interesting atmosphere. Food: average. Ambiance: moderately loud and smells like burning wood. Value: fair. I know I could have enjoyed far better food and not have to smell burning wood for the cost of visit.
Tried the Restaurant Week menu of main dish salmon for me, pork chop for my partner. Appetizers of carrot soup and brusheta pate were good. Pork chop done well but not overly unique. Salmon was excellent cooked perfectly over wood fire. The Star was the desert grilled pineapple and coconut with lime panacotta was to die for! I’m not a desert person really. The subtle sweet mixed with salty in cold was superb. Overall chic and modern atmosphere with a cozy feel. Had a fine experience. We will come again. Maybe next time we’ll get handmade cocktails and the desert at the bar though ; .
Everything from our greeting at the entrance to the boxing of our meal was delightful. Our food was delicious and the experience was phenomenal.
The pork chop was very fatty. Maybe a warning would be in order. The pot pie was good, but was too mundane for an entree. The creme brûlée was excellent, the chocolate marquis was OK. Our server seemed spacey, or inattentive. The bus staff was good. The restaurant seems trendy and transitory rather than an ongoing destination restaurant.
