Heritage Tea House - Saint Paul

Super cute and cozy place with delicious hot drinks and comfort food. Their menu is limited, but I and the other people I went with enjoyed our food. The staff member at the counter is also very nice, so don't be put off if they're a little reserved at first!

The food was hearty and delicious , I had a pot of fresh cut ginger tea and the red beans and rice with cornbread. The food was southern style and all homemade. My cornbread had just been baked and literally served to me piping hot from the oven . The prices matched the serving size leaving me satisfied as I was very hungry but low on funds. The ambiance was inviting and lively yet peaceful. I came to do my finals for college it was the perfect place. It was buzzing enough with other small groups gathering that I didn't get sleepy or bored I was there 3-4 hours) but quiet enough that I could concentrate. The music was nice and jazzy and at the perfect volume. Frequent patrons from the neighborhood popped in to say hello giving it a homey feel. THEN I got to talk with the owner I saw why! I too returned a few days later to buy a pair of earrings that had caught my eye and ended up talking with Miss Rosemary for 2 hours until closing time actually running late to my next destination LoL She is just so delightful, reminiscent of my own grandmother who has now passed She is full of wisdom and very easy to conversate with. She has put her heart soul into this business and it shows. Please pay this establishment a visit U will be glad U did

I love the atmosphere of this place. Whenever I walk in I instantly feel relaxed. It's so classy. The customer service is also great though, sometimes it takes a little bit for them to come to the register. Overall, I highly recommend Heritage Tea House!

Place was amazing I had a good time there that macaroni and cheese will give you life. I recommend this place to anyone who wants some soul food a good happy hour drink and the chill back place with great staff. I'm for sure going to come back there.

This place was so lovely. I loved the atmosphere, the attentive staff, and the boutique area. They have nice African accessories for purchase as well some books for browsing. I ordered the chicken avocado rice bowl and jasmine green, and they were so delicious. I'm a sucker for a place that offers loose leaf teas. There was even a super special helper on the day I visited. The owner's little nephew (I think) offered to help me carry my items to my table and bring me honey for my tea. This place is another gem in the Twin Cities.
