Bread Chocolate - Saint Paul

This place is the bomb! Their veggie spreads are amazing, I always get the grilled vegetarian and it never disappoints. Their roasted red pepper sauce is AMAZING too. Quick, friendly service and clean seating area. Nice selection of baked goods. One ofmy favorite go to lunch spots! :D

CLatte style, lighting fast service.. they definitely have that down. Ordered a couple pastries coffee and was able to find a seat within minutes. Ample seating for such a high traffic corner location. Service is cattle herd proof and have no complaints.Ok, pastries... at first look I was not impressed and my first bite of my almond croissant had a hint of cheese?? ???? A bit ofcross flavoring going on maybe?? The croissants lacked that artisan flacky crust that I've been searching for here in theStates. When I made it to the almond filling everything seemed to come together much better. Both my pastries had wonderfillings with my chocolate croissant actually having... dare I say, in the USA,... over the top amount. My coffee was good andhot, don't tend to go for the fancy sugar drinks. Authentic café et pâtisserie expierence? hmmm... maybe not so much, but aquick tasty, high traffic, morning pick me up... sure!

My wife and I love going to this place for their Ham and Swiss croissants. As their name suggests, they are famous for their tasty pastries and chocolate treats! We have always been pleased when we try something different here. Their M&M cookies are also absolutely amazing!

My morning was made even better when I chose Bread Chocolate for breakfast. This adorable coffee shop on Grand Ave served me an Iced Raspberry White Mocha and a chocolate croissant. While the coffee was a bit too sweet for my liking, the croissant was the best chocolate croissant I've ever had. It had a crunchy exterior, moist interior, and a cake-like chocolate consistency inside, unlike most croissants. If I could, I would give them a 10-star rating.

Ever since my daughter relocated to St. Paul, we have been meeting up at Bread Chocolate to enjoy their delicious coffee and scones. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff in the charming Grand Avenue neighborhood make it a great spot to visit. I highly recommend checking it out!
