The Crab Claw - Saint Michaels

Good food at a reasonable price for a tourist trap. Service was slower than in recent years when the waitress had a table of friends or relatives in extensive conversations? The crab cake was really good, but not the best. The rock fish and chips were well prepared and presented, but I now know that I want to prefer it. There are a lot of outdoor seats right on the water with protection from the sun/rain, and probably some indoor seats, but I never tried. The ambience is old-fashioned crab coupling very simple. We always go there because right in front of the Maritime Museum and there are good parking spaces.

Amazing experience ! Taylor is the best server !! your drink doesn?t get empty and her attentiveness is impeccable . Tracy the first face we seen provided an amazing accommodation to seat us in the perfect spot . Thank you for making our getaway memorable . The **** Marys were off the chain .

Iconic. My family has been enjoying The Crab Claw for 45 years! Visiting on our boat back in the '70s, ' 80s '90s and eating hundreds of crabs here over the years. One of my classic favorites is the Fried Hard Crab. We return to visit by land now but you can never beat sitting by the waters of Chesapeake Bay, Miles River specifically, and enjoying fresh-caught Eastern Shore seafood!

The crab were delicious, and I was glad to have my first Maryland crab experience with some fresh jumbo crabs at the crab claw. The prices are definitely the highest around but I guess you get what you pay for. Cheers.....mom was disappointed in the size of the clams she was given but they were super fresh and I couldn't complain. Order a few pitchers of beer and splurge is the idea.

Amazing atmosphere- great seats right on the water. Oysters were HUGE!!! (And delicious . Although I do wish they offered saltines. (Maybe that?s more of a southeastern thing? . Crab was delicious and fresh as well. Great experience and service! Oh and one of the BEST **** Mary?s I?ve ever had!!
