Plehn's Bakery - Saint Matthews

Plehn's Bakery is fabulous! Since I was about 5 years old, my mother would always go to Plehn on the weekends to get our family an assortment of donuts. Now I'm almost 21 and I never had any doubts about this big bakery. The cash registers know me with name, and it's definitely a hot spot for the locals in Louisville. They have two window displays with beautiful cakes for weddings and other special occasions. I never tried their cakes; but the donuts and pastries are one of a kind!

I love everything I had here. The sugar cookies are sooo good and I live them adapted for special events. The staff is not always super friendly, but it is very busy there during the morning brush.

Delicious. Everything is excellent in this bakery and the staff is so helpful and accommodating. The Italian Cream Cake is excellent, I would recommend it to everyone.

Take the cakes!. I had only delivered cakes from this famous bakery, offices or parties. They were excellent. Would you like to make a visit soon.

Best cakes, treats even homemade ice cream in town great lunch too! It's a fun family tradition to pick out our cakes birthday cakes every year. Their sandwiches and soups are delicious.. Great prices too! One of our fav places for sure.
