Bidrage med feedbackO man, cant resist a great local flavour greasy feed if the occasion presents itself so winningly! Just off hwy 111 as you turn onto the Fundy Coastal Drive and the main street of St Martin. Right after the first bright white church. These ladies know how to sling a mean fried fish dish, with fresh cut fries, out the window of this little roadside shack. It was 'happening '! The biggest crowd in the area congregated here for their share of the seafood menu and ice cream. I had the Fish (Haddock) Plater. Deep fried batter haddock -my first time with this Atlantic resident- burger with a heap of fresh cut fries Under 10$. Worth every penny (with a bit of indigestion) and then some. =D. This is not sushi country: when in Rome! Wow. New Brunswick! So sweet. Great air. Green-off-the-charts. BIGest hills this side of the Continental divide. Small populations, smooth spacious roads. AND an ocean! My first skinny dip in the ATLANTIC!!! St Martin and the Fundy Trail, while in the Saint John area, especially if you just dont have a lot of time to explore the Bay more fully.
$20 for a 3oz lobster roll with more mayonnaise than lobster and poutine drenched in gravy, was very disappointed
I 'll preface this review by saying that I live in NB myself, so I 've travelled around this province and my own city and eat lobster rolls frequently. I was really disappointed in this place 's lobster roll...it felt like a tourist trap with incredibly high dine in prices without any of the overhead on their part. We paid $11.95 for the roll plus another $3.95 for fries...my meal was almost entirely just that a roll. There was hardly any lobster in it at all and it was very watery. I realize that I chose the small but at that price, I could get that literally anywhere in the entire province and it would have at least twice if not three times the amount of lobster meat in it. It was a 1 star meal in my opinion, however, I bumped it up to three because my husband ordered the fish and chips and not only was it a MUCH better bang for your buck, it was delicious. If you go here, my suggestion would be to order those instead!
Definitely a tourist trap! Ordered the small lobster roll and there wasnt even a 1/4 cup of lobster mix! Went to a local diner and had a full course dinner for the same price.
