Sister Cities Cajun - Saint Louis

Our first visit on a quiet Monday night was delightful. The restaurant offered a wide selection of beers and a nice variety of wines. My husband, who is quite particular and loves gumbo, gave his approval to the dish, which is a rare compliment! Although Cajun food isn't my favorite, the waitress was very helpful in providing descriptions and recommendations. The chef even came out to ensure he understood my preferences and was eager to accommodate. I ordered shrimp served with cheese grits patties (which is surprising because I'm not a fan of grits, but I loved these patties) and had brown gravy on the side. I found the gravy to be quite spicy, so just a small drizzle was all I needed to complement my beautifully presented and delicious meal.

This restaurant is outstanding! My family and I visited on a Monday evening, and I often feel anxious about how my younger children behave in public. However, our server was incredibly accommodating and supportive. She provided the kids with toys and coloring books, which put my mind at ease. As for the food? Absolutely delicious! It was fresh, hot, savory, and served in generous portions! I discovered this spot through a food blogger, and it was definitely worth every penny. While I typically dislike making comparisons between restaurants, I can confidently say that if you enjoy Gulf Shores, you will absolutely love this place even more, plus it’s more budget-friendly! Interestingly, we all ended up ordering the same dish, albeit with slight variations: fried catfish topped with gumbo.

We had a wonderful experience! The food was incredibly tasty, and our server Denise, along with the chef, provided excellent service. I truly enjoyed every aspect of our visit!

I brought my family here to celebrate my husband's bday.. The food was amazing service impeccable will definitely be back.
