Bidrage med feedbackThe food was fantastic! We enjoyed the Beef Pho and a seafood hot pot. When we first arrived, the dining room was empty, and many tables had dirty dishes on them. To be fair, we went at 5 PM, which might be a transitional time between lunch and dinner. However, my daughter absolutely loved the crème brûlée boba tea!
Only open on weekends, so that's the minus point. But the food is delicious and the price is cheap! The restaurant is nothing near fancy; restaurant is smelly, bathroom is dirty, but this restaurant is truly the hole in a wall. The food is just so good that I can put up with all that negative things :
If you want some authentic Vietnamese dishes, then you should definitely check out Joyful House. Their seafood broths and noodle dishes are incredible and offer a ton of food for the price. Some of the dishes could easily be shared between two people, and I would suggest getting some small plates and a large noodle dish to share. Everything is really fresh and it shows with how much flavor comes through in each dish.
We had Sping rolls, Hot pot, Pho, Sandwich, Chicken wings, ice cream. All was was super tasty. We will be back for sure. Place looks newer and still getting set up but it was a great dinner.
In St. Louis for a quick drive through. Wanted pho for lunch, this place was the only Vietnamese restaurant open on a Sunday. You seat yourself. Service was slow, because it looked like there was only 1 waiter. However, food was good. I enjoyed the shrimp appetizer. And the cajun seafood was delicious. The flavor is different from other cajun seafood places I've had before.
