Le Gros Minet - Saint-Lary-Soulan

We found a maggot in the food that obviously dropped my daughter. the waiter was completely dismissed without appology. he said, salate and shrug his shoulders.

Our group of 10 were walking around to find a place to eat were rejected by several places as it was main holiday week in Feb. This place seemed quite small from the outside but we checked they said it was possible so...we followed them to a larger upstairs room that we could not tell was there. Anyway we received very nice service also good fresh tasty food. The wine was really a little over priced for the quality otherwise it may have received full 5 stars from us. Still we enjoyed the dinner our group left fed happy.

When we arrived late on a Sunday this place was open and packed and buzzing with French tourists which boded well. We didn't fancy pizza which I think was a mistake as they looked good on other tables. Service was good but the food (salad...and a paella) was not great. Pity

Rustic interiour with tables close together and a really laid back and nice atmosphere. You easily start talking with your neighbouring tables. They serve very good wine at affordable prices along with a good selection of food.

Nous avons atterri dans ce resto par dépit, celui que nous voulions tenter étant fermé. L'accueil du serveur ( peut être le patron?) inexistant , pas de sourire, pas avenant...La tenue d'un des cuisto qui sort de la cuisine est dans un état de saleté à faire peur... Ok on se salie en cuisine mais on peut laver sa tenue pour en avoir une propre chaque jour?? Vaisselle à peine propre, terrasse envahie par les mouches...Paella vraiment pas bonne , tout était sec et des noix de St Jacques dedans, sans intérêt, même pas pu finir.Mon mari a pris un cassoulet insipide, pas assaisonné... menu enfant a 10€ ... pour le contenu de l'assiette, c est abusé! Bref nous sommes partis sans prendre ni dessert, ni café... mention spéciale pour la jeune serveuse qui elle était agréable et à l'écoute. Ca nous a fait penser à Cauchemar en cuisine! Fuyez !
