Restaurant Parthenon - Saint-Lambert

This restaurant looks like an high-end fast food! Ideal for a quick business lunch. Didn't test evening diner... might be a different atmosphere!

It is easy to find old people there and that is a good sign, they know but experience what is good! The service is fast. The daily menu is healthy and home taste. A good place if you need to eat outside and keep a diet (however quantities are great!). A little bir old fashion decor but good location, big restaurant and nice food.

My first time here and I did not know what to expect. We arrived at lunchtime and the restaurant was busy enough. It is quite large inside as well a terrace for outdoor dining in summer. We had our choice of booth or table. The menu is complete, offering all the usual lunchtime offerings, salads, pasta, pizza, gyros, etc. Our server was friendly quick and efficient. We ordered pizza and a club sandwich. The small pizza had four pieces and it was good, (a vegetarian plus). I actually brought two pieces home. I would recommend this restaurant for a casual lunch. It is not fancy, nor romantic, but the food was good and service efficient.

After trying several dishes from this restaurant, I can attest most dishes are good and typical however nothing special. Some pasta dishes are really bland and have no taste, sous marines are very greasy but taste good and are delicious. I personally am a fan their chicken and ham burgers. Try Lazy Boy Chicken Burger and OutBack Hamburger really nice. One of the owners is not nice and cut me off when I was mentioning about a problem to him on the phone, by saying "do you want to order or not?". Service quality is random and depends on the mood of your waiter. Sometimes they just put food on your table and disappear for good never to be seen again, good forbid to refill water or ask if everything is ok or if anything is needed. due to mentioned issues with the service we only eat there if don't have any other choice in the vicinity (Nun's Island area) and try to order only for delivery.
