Deluxe French Fries Ltd - Saint John

I have been a client and a very happy one for many years now. They never disappoint me and cook the food perfectly and will cook it as you want. For example, I like my fish to be cooked lightly and they always succeed.

Deluxe is a Maritime tradition and has been around for a long time with franchise operations in many locations. They have probably the best fries and their fish chips is great food. Less impressed with their burgers but if you want a decent basic...burger, they can provide. They have great turkey/chicken club sandwiches and western sandwiches are part of their breakfast menu, all made to order and fresh. The only challenge is that for this location, disabled access is not available. There are several steps you must climb to get into the restaurant, so if you're in a wheelchair or have serious mobility issues, you won't get in.

Delux is a local chain know for it's English Style puffy battered fish and great fresh hand made french fries. This is a take out or eat in place... and all the locals love it. It's not gourmet dining... its good old Down East Maritime...eating. May not be to everyones liking but those who do are very loyal...

Lobster roll was pretty decent. Fries OK. Not a bad place for a fast food meal, but don't go expecting anything more than that.

I was looking forward to trying some authentic New Brunswick cuisine, but was somewhat disappointed by the fish and chips, which were just average compared to other places I've tried. The lobster roll seemed to be pre-made with just one small piece of lobster meat in a hot dog bun, and was wrapped in cling wrap. The service from the staff was friendly, but I felt the overall experience was overpriced for the quality of the food I received.
