Bidrage med feedbackI went there last year for my birthday. I would say the staff were not very nice and welcoming, and both the food and service could use some improvement. However, I really liked the ambiance, the family environment, and the coziness.
Unfortunately for some reason this time we were ignored quite a lot. In the past the service was very accessible but this time we had two small hungry children. We ordered tho teas, a scone, a slice of cake and house soup. These should have been fairly easily as no prep is needed. The tea was mostly finished by the time the cake and scone arrived. We had to ask twice two or three times for the food and the check. It was puzzling to me as many others came, were served and left while we waited with hungry children.
AMAZING, is all I can say. I brought my best friend here for their new Autumn High Tea and her birthday. Being from England I have a very high standard for high tea and The Secret Garden blew us away with the friendly service we received and the nice chats we had, they made everything so special for us. We also were delighted with the fresh sandwiches and delicious desserts. The scones were so good I had to buy some large ones to take home with me!Their variety of tea is lovely with many flavours to choose from paired with the fact you can change flavours through the seating was just such a great experience. My friend and I highly recommend it after today, we will be back and the Garden will no longer be a “Secret” to our other friends!Thank you Secret Garden.
I love The Secret Garden Tea Company. My daughter and I went for high tea for the first time during the pandemic. It was my birthday gift to her for her eighth birthday. We have since made it a tradition ago go every year. This past July was our third time. The food is always amazing, we love the all you can drink tea and the atmosphere is always relaxed and kind. We love you guys and look forward to seeing you next year for my daughters 11th birthday!!!Vegetarian options: We always get the vegetarian option and it is always tasty!Kid-friendliness: My daughter loves it and the servers are always patient with her.
Tea was good.Food not great quality, and really not generous, for example the savoury scone with aged cheddar … where was the cheddar? … so little cheese one couldn’t even taste it … a sad token amount when you open it up; and way too much seedy mustard (all you can taste is mustard) on the not so fresh croissant (chicken Caesar) etc; the tiniest bit of egg salad on the pink bun.In general disappointing and not high quality regarding the eats and also generally not well balanced with flavour for example relish overload etc way too sweet on the savoury options.Staff are nice but not really attentive. Atmosphere nice but not amazing. I’d rather go to a stunning hotel or an exquisitely quaint tea house if I’m going to receive a mediocre high tea … at least there’s some pay off then with atmosphere. Had far, far better high teas … this was way too expensive for 3 people coming to $206 with 18% tip … we wouldn’t have minded paying if it had been top notch food but it was nowhere near. They’re saving pennies on food costs.Total buyers remorse, should have checked out other high tea places.High price, low food quality, not a good combo.
