Bidrage med feedbackMy friend and I were on a cruise and Vancouver, BC was the last stop before ending at Seattle. After 20 days of eating cruise food, I was looking forward to eating some comfort food, like hot and sour soup. After wandering around and asking a hotel bellman for recommendations, he directed us to Peaceful Restaurant. We ordered the hot and sour soup and the pork potstickers and it the best I've had in a long time! I read complaints about the service and the server tossing the plates on the table and walking away. I've been to a lot of Chinese restaurants in the Seattle International District where the waitstaff is like that, so how the staff at Peaceful acted didn't bother me at all. It seemed normal.Next time I am in Vancouver, I plan on going back to Peaceful and ordering more than just the hot and sour soup and pork potstickers.
Came here to see what Guy Feria raved about....was horribly disappointed. Part if it my fault as I should ha e really the reviews as to what their specializes were but did ask the waiter and what he suggested was bland and flavorless. The hostess was rude! We arrived at 2:15 and were initially told they were closed, their sign said they score at 3. The acquiesced and let us in and told us we had 2 minutes to order and then glared at us until we left. Not going back.
They have amazing delicious food here. And the staff are kind and professional. You should definitely eat here.
Recommended by our hotel concierge and he was right hot and sour soup was fantastic. Fried rice was wonderful also Dan, Dan noodles, and the beef roll.
This restaurant has delicious food and it's great to come here during lunch to take advantage of their lunch specials. The food portions are quite large and it's great value for money. Don't come here expecting great service or if you're in a rush though because you will take a while to be served.
