I recommend this restaurant! I would advise them to book in advance because it is a pretty divisive way to get there and it is very popular with the local population so it is often fully booked.
To have such a beautiful place in such a small hamlet, how happy are the natives. we were recommended to this wonderful place by the owner of la canopee where we lived. the beautiful lady owners here had talks with me with their broken English and my broken French, very entertaining. the outside of the place is charmingly done and the inner is executed like an old load. large inglenook fireplace with a glowing fire when we arrived, surprisingly, you get used to the heat soon. the menu is simple, but good choice and eating was beautiful and excellent presented both in taste and in worth. what a nice visit. I just wish it had been closer to where we finally stayed, as I had returned back and forth.
Excellent, real gem, should try out; but must book in advance; service and ambience are excellent. Highly recommended.
To have such a lovely venue in such a small hamlet, how lucky are the local people. We were recommended to this wonderful place by the owner of La Canopee where we were staying. The lovely lady owner here had conversations with me with her broken English and my broken French, very entertaining. The outside of the venue is charmingly done and the inside is done out like an old shop. Big inglenook fireplace with a roaring fire when we arrived, amazingly you soon got used to the heat. The menu is simple but good choice and the food was presented beautifully and excellent both in taste and value. What a lovely visit. I only wish it had been closer to where we were eventually to be staying as I would have returned here again and again and again.
