18/08/17 . following the reading of the reviews on different quotes, we decided to go there and spend the night in the hotel. and there opening the door the surprise was complete; restaurant at the top: very nice reception, very warm place, we took the menu gargantuesque and everything there was ( quantity, quality, know how to make the chef simply).Thanks to all the staff for his kindness and professionalism. a special dedication to elena with an extra kiss. lol ps: here you don't need cooking; we know how to do and good!!! We spent an excellent evening at the old hostel, the atmosphere is family and nice, the service is top with a lot of humor and without chichi. There is a real staging with the chimney and the stuffed pig. in feels comfortable! Soup is very good, everyone loved its entry too (the mussels. waouhhh!), the meats are delicious (the lamb confit 8h is really one of the best meat I could taste of my life!). desserts are quite wanted too. wines are a little expensive and the menus are not given either, from 30 to 54€. the addition climbs very fast but there is quantity and quality. Many products are local, dressages may be a bit of finesse (except desserts) but it goes well with the very authentic and local side of this place. I recommend this restaurant and I think we will return!!!
Post article in vsd magazine I wanted to discover this establishment on the holiday return route in Spain. I don't regret this little detour because as with the idea, I had been made. Warm, relaxing atmosphere and decor, but above all a good and hearty meal (too) with products from the region including the sorbets of faur philippe at caumont (09).
