St George Taco Truck Kitchen

Our family enjoys having this authentic Mexican restaurant in our neighborhood, so we don't have to travel to the city. The Quesabirrias are incredible, albeit a bit pricey. The Chimichanga is also excellent, especially when paired with the green sauce on the side. The atmosphere is lovely, and the place is clean.

We were really looking forward to trying this restaurant, but it didn't quite live up to our expectations. If you're a fan of the squeeze cheese you find on Kino Nachos, then you'll probably enjoy the afteros here. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff was very friendly. I tried all the salsas available and ended up feeling like I was breathing fire! Unfortunately, I couldn't find a mild or medium salsa, which would have been a nice option. They did have a wide variety of sauces and salsas, but only one or two were labeled, so it turned into a bit of a guessing game when it came to taste.

The food was a bit too salty for my liking, though I can see how others might enjoy it. However, the wait time was quite lengthy, averaging between 1 to 1.5 hours. Since this restaurant is new, I understand they may still be working out the kinks. I live nearby and had high hopes for having a taco shop close to home, but the lack of authentic flavor and the extended wait time have made me hesitant to return regularly. I regret having to give a negative review.

Solid good. Great attitude. Clean. Fresh. Great experience. I ordered the Chororzo Quesadilla. Crispy scarf around a cheesy chorizo center. Very good. Others in my party had Burritos and Tacos. Sauces Onion Green on the side to dress your portions like you want. You can say there are truck roots. A great understanding of keeping it fresh.

Good tasting food, super greasy and the service is slow. They probably need to minimize the menu to be able to serve faster. Took around 40 minutes to get my food. A great location and a fun place to go.
