42 Ale House - Saint Francis

I went in to grab a beer or two while getting some work done. Waited to be seated. The bartender and a slovenly waiter both looked in my direction, but did not acknowledge me. A patron looked at me and looked at the bartender and waiter as if to askif the employees were aware. I walked out. Thankfully there are really two places in Milwaukee to go to game and drink. You might say then the decision is Binary. Edit:

Definitely not just pub food. Our group had burgers, a chicken sandwich and a chicken salad. Everything was excellent. Friendly staff and a decent drink selection. We will certainly be back

I've been here multiple times for lunch, dinner, trivia night, and for the appetizers and board games. I really wish this place had better food. Every time I come there is an issue. My burger was cooked well done instead of medium rare. I've ordered frenchfries that came out really greasy and soggy, I asked the waitress if the kitchen could make fresh ones and she brought me backmore greasy and soggy fries. I feel like the food is just not worth its price. Some of the appetizers were good, but I feelconstantly let down by service and mediocre food. On a positive note they have an extensive board game collection. If you arejust going here for a meal I would turn around and go somewhere else.

Friendly and quick service. Warm and welcoming nerdy atmosphere. Lots of fun for anyone looking for a game night or a buzz. Will totally be coming back here again. (100% recommend the Arkam Apple. So good)

It's a nice place, food was fine, service was alright. Prices seem just a tad high. No free refills on soda. Giant pretzel was fun! They have a decent collection of games to play. Would come back, but won't go out of my way to do so.
