Bidrage med feedbackWe were an integral part of this hotel. Staff friendly, but service slowly employs a small office staff to serve food and we were ignored for some time after ordering wine and food. The food was however highest quality. A good... Wine list at a reasonable price too.
The title says everything. The cook is the fourth generation family and really knows how to cook. We had the fixed price meal worth 29 euros and every cent. This really gourmet food at a bargain price. We also had a nice bottle... red wine from the area my wife was in a Rapture. Also forget to say the local cheeses were delicious, like the desserts that my wife again thought she had gone to heaven, which does not say much about me. Anyway, she would definitely go back if we had more time in this city.
When we arrived at our hotel, we asked her advice about the best place to eat in St Flour, they said very proud that the Hotel Resturant was the best place in the city, as it was already late, we had a quick look around the old city and even though there were better places with great views the food looked quite basic, so we just came in the time to order. The service was perfectly presented the food very well and beautifully and the set food was the only drawback at a price of 28 euros was the wine list that started a bottle and up around 28 euros, but I would certainly eat there again if I returned to St Flour
What a great find, we stopped for lunch here on the way to Toulouse, had the Steak Tartare, best I had in France, absolutely delicious, my wife had the Fish, very fresh. Great selection of cheese and deserts to finish a great meal.
My appetizer of the local charcuterie was abundantly varied and excellent. The entrecôte main quite well, cheese plate to the very high local standards. Fine dessert from strawberries. Very good prompt service. Pleasant dining room with well spaced tables.
