Pizzeria Veneto - Saint-Dié-des-Vosges

Very good quality food, friendly and attentive staff. They have an excellent variety of choices. very relaxing atmosphere. Their home matured steaks are the best i have tasted in a very long time. I highly recommend this establishment!!!

My husband and I ordered the plat de jour, mine was inedible. The beef was raw and rubbery the sauce much to spicy so I sent it back. I asked for a simple portion of cheese and a glass of wine to replace it. It...took a half hour to bring me the cheese, I never did receive the glass of wine. At check out they expected me to pay full price for an inedible meal with bad service. Then they argued with me that I should have liked it! Finally they relented and removed the dish from my bill when I asked to speak with a manager. Horrible experience that left a knot in my stomach. The worst part was seeing the waiter putting buns from off the tables back in to bin to be served again. I will not be returning.

Very nice place with a large choice of food. It's Better to reserve your table in advance specially in the week-ends. We love it

I know this restaurant for a very long time. It has been the venue of many family reunions in the past. On the occasion of my latest visit I did notice the refurbishment which makes the place a better one. The menu is great and...offers a good choice. The food quality is also quite good and I would dispute certain sceptical comments of certain reviews I have read about Veneto in relation to freshness. I was there on a busy Saturday evening and the service was reasonable, however I am critical about it because it took requests for ice cubes before getting them. On the night I had my favourite the ris de veau financiere which one of their specialities : as usual served to perfection. The wine list offers a good selection. I recommend the place to anyone.

We went there when the restaurant was completely full. Ordering took some time, but the food arrived very quickly. It's important to know that you don't pay at the table, but by the entrance. We waited a very long time for paying as we were...not aware of this. Overall, the food was very good. They could have served a bit more cheese with the pasta, but thats the only complaint I can make. The salads were good and came with fresh bread, the desserts were really amazing. The waiters were running from table to table.
