Les Verdons - Saint-Bon-Tarentaise

Just below the large lift of Courchevel is this (one of many) luxurious restaurant. It has a great view on the slopes and mountains. The service is perfect and the outside and inside interior is of very high quality. But if this justifies the prices they ask for just a Coffee, beer, tosti, fries etc.. But this is what Courchevel is, the town in the 3 Vallees for the rich of the world, so in that view it fits perfectly.

Very convenient for a mid day respite from the slopes. Food options are pretty ok. Food is ok. Service just ok. Nice view from the table.

Some say he cant sing, others say he makes the words up as he goes along. One thing for sure he’s very entertaining and a regular fixture of a lunch time. I thought he was fab! Les Verdons is easily reached by the Verdon’s cable car so a good place to meet up with non skiers in your party. We only had drinks here basking in the sun on deck chairs whilst being entertained by the musician in the early afternoon. No mountain restaurant is cheap in Couchevel but at least prices here are average. There is a simple downstairs cafe and a nicer restaurant upstairs. It’s a great natural suntrap and a very easy meeting place.

Lunch here is traditional mountain restaurant but pretty good nonetheless. It is at the top of the Verdons bubble so can be used by non skiers. We ate in the cheaper area downstairs We hasgood mountain lunch of tartiflette, omelettes and pasta. Service was very...efficient and staff were pleasant. As it was a lovely day, the view of Saulire was stunning. Total cost was just over 100 euros for 5

We ordered 3 hot chocolates and a cappuccino which totalled €29. A complete rip-off, don't come here!
