Café Roma Chalmette

After a bit of research we found this wonderful restaurant we had visited a couple years ago to have the opportunity to eat their Muffuletta Calzone. It is huge and crispy and gooey and crunchy and absolutely delicious.Skip the news playing over the last booth on the lefts heads maybe.

WOW the Roma Special was the best. I home made bread I love it! Go to the restaurant in Chalmette because their sandwiches are loaded.

This review is based on a carry-out order. Pizzas were ready on time. We ordered the spinach and artichoke and combination pizzas. Both had a generous amount of toppings, and the sauces were very good. The crust is unique...thin, a little crispy, with an outer ridge that had sort of a biscuit-like consistency reminiscent of some deep-dish pizzas. I thought the crust was tasty, and a good change of pace from the usual pizza chain restaurants in Chalmatte. Service at checkout was, shall we say, quick and to the point. No complaints, very good pizza, recommended.

Very Good Pizza. The right amount of toppings, cheese, sauce. Would definitely return for more. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

My family and I have been coming to Cafe Roma for years. One of my all-time favorite memories is sitting in the restaurant when having get together with family I haven't seen in a while. And as a vegetarian who has doesn't always feel comfortable in restaurants, Cafe Roma has always felt warm and welcoming. It's nostalgic and wonderful tasting food. Especially their pizzas!
