Chef Luke has a varied menu and serves the meals in record time to visitors and locals. A motel restaurant which attracts the locals in large numbers - that says it all!
Food and atmosphere was good - reasonable choices on menu; however food was a bit on expensive side. For example, $39 for scotch fillet steak; $48 for eye fillet!!
My choice of Involtinis plus a salad and a glass of Seppelts Chardonnay was a good one. The wine matched the food quite well and the food was a change from the grill-food so prominent when travelling with a campervan.
The food here is excellent I have to admit that I am a steak snob and the steak I had at the Riverland Motor Inn would rate in my top 5. Steak was cooked to perfection and I'm very fussy as I prefer my steak rare, absolutely no complaints at all. Well presented and a large meal for the price.
My husband and I have just returned from dinner at this restaurant. Service was polite and very friendly. We ordered garlic prawns ($26) and Pork Belly ($24) for entree. Both were delicious and very generous serves. For mains we ordered a Pork Cutlet ($36) and the Chicken ($38). Very generous serves, which we could not finish, but our meals were delicious. We also ordered a lemon lime and bitters (for the driver) ($4) and a bottle of Annie's Lane Sav Blanc ($36). Total price for the meal was $164. Not cheap but a fair price for the quality of meals we enjoyed. Many thanks for a lovely evening.
