Bidrage med feedbackWhen I ordered a mimosa, it was served in a regular juice glass, which felt unsafe, as it contained champagne. Furthermore, it didn’t come with the “rock candy swirl stick” mentioned in the menu, making it feel like a $10 glass of juice. As for the food, it was quite disappointing—bland and served cold. The so-called “primary nativity” was sliced like roast beef but was tasteless and lacked salt. I was also shocked that guests were allowed to use the buffet considering we’re still in a global pandemic. Some of the younger servers seemed disoriented and nearly collided with me each time I approached the buffet. On a positive note, our server was very friendly, but for around $50 per person, I expected much more. Overall, I left feeling completely disappointed, frozen, and hungry.
The food was outstanding, just like the service! The atmosphere at the Old Barn Inn is wonderful!
The price of $50 per person feels a bit steep for a brunch experience like this. Additionally, there was no hot tea available.
When I ordered a mimosa, it came in a standard juice glass, and I couldn't taste any champagne in it. Also, it lacked the “rock candy swirl stick” that was advertised on the menu, making it feel more like I paid $10 for juice rather than a proper mimosa. The food was disappointing as well—lackluster in flavor and served cold. The “prime rib” resembled thin slices of roast beef rather than being properly prepared, and it was completely unseasoned. I was also surprised that guests were allowed to serve themselves at the buffet, especially considering the ongoing global pandemic. Some of the younger servers seemed overwhelmed and were scurrying around, nearly colliding with me each time I went up to the buffet. I will say that our server was very friendly, which is one positive note. With a cost of around $50 per person, I expected a much higher quality experience. I left feeling utterly disappointed, cold, and still hungry.
