Steak 'n Shake - Saint-Alban

Service was extremely bad and poor.food quality was good. We was really not very happy about their service. Our burgers was cold. Price high, it’s ok, but service was really very poor. They should be improve their service . If continues service unprofessional shop ll be shut down.

Decent burger. Never quite liked their fries and adding melted cheddar is a mistake. Overall experience is a normal one in the US. When can we expect Five Guys in Toulouse? One can only hope.

We’ve been here several times and it is a family favourite. It is well upmarket compared to Mac Donald’s and as such is a bit more pricey. You queue up best to be early at lunchtime) and order. You’ll get your drinks quickly but need to sit and wait for the meals which are made fresh to order. They give you a vibrating alarm that buzzes when you need to go up to get the food. Quality is very good, but we were not keen on the fries with cheese- too much cheese and it was a bit processed. Anyway without the cheese everything is fine, Worth a try!

Quality fast food. The avocado hamburger and the vegetarian sandwich were exquisite (one of the best vegetarian sandwiches I've ever tasted). The milkshakes are also very good. Only negative point, it's a bit expensive for being fast food after all.

My friend from Kentucky tells me this is a chain that comes from the southern U.S. This restaurant feels like fast food because of the plastic booths, paper napkins and self-service. But the quality of the burgers and shakes have nothing to do with other fast food chains. Between the buns is a steak, not a patty. It could be seasoned a bit more, but that matters very little when you have such tasty toppings. The fries are homemade and luscious. The milkshakes are authentic. If you do order the large milkshake, may God give you strength. Obviously the prices go the quality, but at least you are full and happy at the end.
