Bidrage med feedbackAs soon as they drive up here and out of their car, they simply can't imagine getting back into reality. a so picturesque place! the rooms are from this world and oh so comfortable! there's so much to explore around you that you, if you stay for a month! I don't really know how to describe it, except it was absolutely incredible! how often did they serve a Michelin starter chef for dinner and breakfast! we also pampered in the tasting menu and that was actually an experience of a life. eat, the intrictity of all those wein pairs. beautiful warm hospitality and personalized service at any time. they leave with really amazing memories and promise to themselves that they will soon be back!
Our third visit, and still exaggerated in the quality of eating. this time we chose the country menu. every cure was sensational, some of them unforgettable, and if there was to be a critique (there is not) it would be that there is too much...food at this season includes the menu seasonal food like brain (an excellent terrine and venison steak) and hate, as well as bloodworst and their classic sobrasada. can not wait to go back.
What a fabulous experience to eat in this restaurant. oriole the chef is a real master of art to make the best Catalan food possible. no end of imagination. you can stay in the hotel where the restaurant is located. the wee are...outstanding
How can I describe this charming place? Well it's all you can wish for!! Oriol Rovira the chef was born and runs a family restaurant adjacent to the farm where he grew. He uses local products including truffles found on his territory. He has a...one star Michelin but you don't see any remark about it in the restaurant. They also run a simple cosy hotel where I slept for one night. Well Oriol is an amazing chef. You see it from the breakfast omelette to the most elaborated dishes during the rest of the day. Everything is so tasty and made with a lot of smile and joy. A paella he prepared for our group was the best I ever ate in my life and believe me I ate some. I also bought some sausages (served on breakfast). made in the farm (just ask to make a visit there if you sleep over) I ate so many truffles during my stay eggs with and even ice cream with truffles. So do I recommend? Highly A MUST PLACE AND BETTER SLEEP OVER NOT ONLY EAT THANK YOU ORIOL FOR AN AMAZING STAY AND YOUR AMAZING PERSONALITY. I will return for sure.
We visited this as a large group with a 7 course tasting menu which for the amount of food we received was very good value. The concept of the restaurant was to server you as part of the tasting menu a selection of the ingredients...they produce. A large selection of tomatoes served as the first course. Good but not exceptional. Other courses included a really good fish course followed by a their signature chicken dish which was nice. The ambience and service were ok but plenty of room for improvement
