Barfly - Safety Harbor

We dined outside at this restaurant and enjoyed the coconut shrimp and burger. The waitress was attentive and our food was served promptly.

This restaurant is located on the corner directly across the street from the resort Safety Harbor where I stayed. I had been wanting to try this place for a while and I absolutely loved it on my first visit.

It's a nice place to sit outside and enjoy a drink in the heart of the secure harbor in the city center. They have large individual beach chairs right on the corner.

Good place for lunch, nice vibe and ahi items are always good. Our server Anthony is awesome, as usual.

I am so glad I made it back to Bar Fly in Safety Harbor. My last visit was six years ago. I have yet to find a comparable lobster grilled cheese sandwich plate, served with chips and lobster bisque for dipping. (I am choosing to ignore my very mild shellfish allergy while I 'm here). Our server, Alan, was so funny and delightful. We came back here twice in one day. Yes, twice! Also had the peel and eat shrimp served warm with a side of butter. It was nice to see the same things I loved about my first visit are still very much in place. It is my must visit bar and restaurant while in Safety Harbor. Great people watching, too, if you are lucky enough to get a corner window or patio seat.
