Charthouse Cafe - SAFETY BAY

We just had a family and friends dinner at Charthouse Cafe, and we absolutely loved it!! They catered for the kids by doing smaller meals and drinks. Three of us had the Beef Cheeks which were amazing and I had the Morroccan Lamb Shanks which were divine. You can BYO wine which was great and the service was fantastic, both friendly and efficient. We'd highly recommend the cafe for dinner, and the others also love having breakfast there. That's next on my list. Do yourselves a favour and go along for a generous served and delicious meal.

Beautiful lunch, beautiful people, and beautiful price...even my father was impressed and that does not happen very often!

My daughter and I had lunch at CC yesterday. It's in the Waikiki shopping centre next to the carpark. The food is great and very reasonably priced. I had a streak sandwich which, apart from the bread not being toasted enough for my liking, was very good. I mentioned it to the chef and he was willing to redo my meal but I said it would be fine and I would ask for the bread to be toasted more next time I came. The chips were hot, crisp and tasty and the home made sauce was delicious. My daughter had the cobbler and she gave it a 10 out of 10.. The staff were attentive, helpful and eager for feedback. They will shortly be opening for dinner a few nights a week. I will definitely go back to CC and will recommend it to my friends.

We tried two of the lunch specials from a choice of 10 and were blown away. I had the mushroom and spinach risotto and my husband had the tandoori chicken. Both were AMAZING. Well presented and soooooooooooo tasty. Fresh ingredients used by a chef who clearly cares about providing quality food. Not only was this the best lunch we have had in a very long time but it was also one of the cheapest. We will be coming back to try the other 8 lunch options that all sound so good it is hard to know which to choose first. We also go in for coffee on a regular basis and this too is of a high standard.
