Vampire Penguin South Sacremento

I've been to many Vampire Penguins, and this was my first time at this location.There was a line of unfortunate customers in 95-degree heat waiting outside for 15 minutes because none of their employees open on time, which is pretty ridiculous because it opens at 1pm. It's not like you're going to wake up late for work at 1pm.30 minutes later, the restaurant was full of bored customers waiting for food. We got there at opening time, and it was 45 minutes before we got our meal. Absolutely unacceptable.As usual, food was great, but we did notice the Green Tea and Red Bean Snow with strawberry toppings had almost no strawberries and red bean. We compared this one to our photos from other Vampire Penguins, and it was very obvious they skimped this time.

Place looks dirty and the ice cream doesn’t taste good at all…

So unique and sooo yummy.. i cant wait to go again!

Over priced for their deserts that are sub par at best. On top of that, expect to wait half an hour for 1 item. Don't accept door dash orders 30 mins before closing then expect your inside customers to wait forever ????‍ Terrible experience.

I heard a ton of good stuff from this soot so I'd thought I try it out..so first, the good, I got the cheese cake flavored shaved ice and it was amazing !!! The ice was soft as snow and the flavors were so dang good. Now the reasons for the two stars. The staff didn't even acknowledge we were there, no customer service what's so ever. We ordered the balls with nitrogen, and we couldn't eat half of them because the cup was filled half ways with nitrogen. My kids got close to the bottom and burned thier tongues. That's is extremely dangerous. I'd go back strictly for the shaved ice.. but maybe at another location.
