Sumo Sushi - Sacramento

One of the best sushi spots in Sacramento! I highly recommend it!

This place is truly a hidden gem. I have to admit, I'm quite a sushi snob, and as someone who usually frequents Mikuni, I was pleasantly surprised by this spot. I probably wouldn’t have tried it if a friend hadn't recommended it to me. Don’t be deceived by the exterior; the sushi is incredibly fresh and delicious. The rice is cooked just right, and the flavors and presentation are spot on. I can’t comment on the dine-in experience since I opted for the drive-thru pick-up. I did take off one star for service because I had to wait longer than I was quoted — I ended up having to circle back after waiting an extra ten minutes. Thankfully, TikTok kept me entertained during the wait! I’ll definitely be back!

Don’t be deceived by its appearance, which resembles a former Wendy's or Pizza Hut; this place offers some of the best sushi in Sacramento. The menu is extensive, and the service is friendly.

The experience and atmosphere was awesome. We came here while waiting on our truck to be washed and it was a good fit. The food was amazing and spicy edamame was very good.

Why do they say CRAB on their description when they serve you artificial ? CRAB? I paid $3.25 to get real crab in a Roll and it did not taste right, maybe old?
