Dad’s Sandwiches - Sacramento

I really enjoyed the vegan meatloaf sandwich. The prices were a bit high and there weren't many vegan options available, but the location is great and I will definitely return.

I am aware that there are other vegan sandwich choices available, and I have heard they are delicious. However, I highly recommend trying the vegan meatloaf sandwich! You won't regret it and you can thank me later. It is absolutely delicious!

I know there are other vegan sandwich options (and I have heard that they are good) but only get the vegan meat dew sandwich! you will not regret and you can thank me later! it's so damn good!

This place is absolutely delicious. We got the Pastrami Mami and the Blue Collar sandwiches along with a scoop of strawberry cheesecake ice cream. The sandwiches were packed with house smoked meats and veggies on top of locally produced bread, they even have local beers. The sandwiches were phenomenal, the Pastrami was moist and perfectly sliced. The ice cream was also really good, you get a really good sized scoop for less than 5 bucks and it's incredibly creamy and has really good flavor. I can't wait to go back and try other sandwiches and ice creams. And the staff was super nice, the cashier explained what goes on the sandwiches and even told us where everything comes from.

Dad’s is a small unassuming sandwich joint. It’s outside is covered in nature and the inside is decorated with all sorts of kitsch fake vintage signs. That and the oversize Pabst Blue Ribbon advert may lead one to think dad may very well be a hipster. I have been here twice (my usual requirement before I write a review). My first time I had the Reuben. It was good but I kept thinking that if Dad would buy better corned beef it would have been a great sandwich. My next trip to Dad’s was for breakfast. I had the “Big Daddy”. The Big Daddy is a mushroom/swiss egg sandwich with red onion. Delicious! Overall I am sure you will find something here you will enjoy.
