This place is small, they offer complementary tea that is self serve , but the tea was too bitter for me. I order the eel clay pot, chicken skin, quail eggs , crispy spicy tofu and the vegetables ony choy. The tables here inside is picnic style tables . Plenty of parking. I came here to try the meat on the stick , that's what entice me to come. The food I can smell it and it smells delicious . But what I smelled wasn't any of the things I order. I had my first bite of the chicken skin and I was disappointed, no flavor but crispy for sure. I love quail eggs but this one there was nothing special about it. Every single food that came to my table was always warm. Omg the fried crispy tofu are HUGE!! But I mostly taste the pepper . The eel clay pot came out sizzling, you can see the steam come off . My favorite dish was the vegetable ony choy. Omg!! It's like a explosion of flavor in your mouth and it's healthy too.

Cute little store with all the necessities for a decently good skewer place. Pretty impressive with how many items there are on the menu. The salt and pepper chicken wings was super juicy and deep in flavor. I loved the skewered extra crispy chicken skin, quail eggs, and pork belly wrapped mushrooms. The beef and lamb skewers were marinated and cooked so well and the spice powder is very addicting. If I hadn't ordered the clay pot already, I would have ordered more skewers. It's my first time seeing two different sizes for clay pots. Ordering the small one allowed me to try more things on the menu. I chose the preserved meat option and it was cooked really well. There was a good balance between the preserved meat, and the cooked and crispy rice. The only thing lacking was the flavor, the soy sauce mix that was provided was light and not rich enough. If I don't see a long line when I pass by Freeport Blvd, I would definitely make a quick stop and try out more items on the menu.

This was a random and unexpectedly delicious find. Cheap, delicious, and highly satisfying clay pot rice dishes. Wouldn't mind coming back again if we were in the area..

Variety and quality of skewers is good. Enjoyed the eel clay pot rice and crispy tofu too. Complementary tea was not great, but they have other tea options that are good. Would visit again for tasty BBQ time.
