Arigato Sushi - Sacramento

I ordered sushi online and absolutely love their sushi; their sauce really elevates the experience. My husband picked it up on his way home from work. I had mentioned to him that he should get the sauce for free since we ordered four rolls, but they informed him he would have to pay for it because I hadn’t included it in the online order. My understanding is that they typically provide one small sauce cup per roll for free, and we didn’t need any extras. However, they didn’t give him the complimentary sauce and explained that their policy requires an additional charge of 25 cents for extra sauce. I get that, but extra should mean they provide some sauce for free, and if you want more, you pay for it. It was quite frustrating because the rolls we received didn’t even come with any sauce, which is unusual for them. I really wish I had taken a picture of the rolls. My husband did snap a photo of their policy, which I find confusing—they don’t seem to fully understand what it means.

I had the worst culinary experience at this restaurant. The fish didn't taste fresh, and the presentation was disappointing. The service was also lacking. We came to celebrate my son's birthday and expected a much better experience. This review specifically pertains to the Howe Ave. location. Additionally, the women's bathroom was dirty and poorly lit, with most of the lights not working, and there was a hole in the wall near the restroom.

Absolutely delicious! I tried a new roll called the "Cancer," and it was incredible. Such great value for the quality!

The food was good. I ordered a Spicy Tuna roll and Arigato roll they were both good, maybe too much sauce on the Arigato roll. It was busy, with only one server but she was friendly.
