Lovely restaurant that served afternoon tea on Sunday evening. It was a lovely experience with wonderful service and great tea.

We passed for a late drink at night on Wednesday August 17 at 11:30p.m. but unfortunately the bartender was very rude and not professional. We forced him to talk to us because he was ignoring us! That is the reason i am giving one star in my review. Sadely, i love this place (food, drink and atmosphere).

I have been wanting to try this place since I heard about it a few months ago. I was really surprised at how much I loved the town of Saarbrucken, and I really liked the greatly decorated old English Tea Room. We deliberately went after 15:00 so we could try their scones. I will start by complimenting them on their service, and the tea and condiments. Having said that, we were disappointed with our scones because we were pretty sure they had been warmed in a microwave oven. If not then something in the batter made them rubbery and gave them a rather bland taste. My wife had the Guinness Chocolate Cake, and it was excellent.
