Turys Tacos - S San Diego

Just wanna say that the person who rings the customers up has a hard job. Doubling as a bartender and a cashier for food orders. That said, he rang me up for single order tacos instead of the 3 for $10 deal, even though I said thag I wanted the deal. The drinks are good.the horchata beer was out so i had the horchata cocktail. It was ok, not too strong or off putting. Idk, this place haa good food and drinks but this is twice I have been here where I feel like my wires are getting crossed with the person representing the business (the bartender). Maybe if I interacted with someone else it would go better.

Delish! Awesome place to combine tacos and local brews! Should have got more tacos..... ?

Turys is the live action taco spot in the back of Border X they have been doing a killer Taco Tuesday for years, the have an unusual to me but delicious ceviche that is available only on Saturdays?? and they recently changed their menu to include a really amazing arrachera salad and added a bacon and cheese wrapped shrimp taco that is nuts! Love these folks! Support!

Turys is located inside Border X and I already had dinner across the street from here, so I wasn't too hungry. Some friends ordered the chips and guacamole and a few tacos, which looked really yummy. I decided to get some after finding out that they were on my list of places to try. I ended up getting a vampiro, carne asada, and a shrimp taco. It's cool to see them make the tacos in front of me and they were pretty big. The tacos were great and they didn't skimp on the fillings either. I think my favorite was the shrimp taco- I like how it was breaded and it was the most flavorful out of the three that I tried.

Cool little taco spot located inside of the Border X Brewery. The outdoor seating area was nice and they fit plenty of seating in such a small area. The vampiros was good, a little burnt, but the chicken, cheese and salsa saved it.
