Tappi Sushi 2 - S San Diego

The food was fantastic, and the waitstaff were very friendly. We were served promptly. This has been one of my favorite sushi places for years, and it consistently delivers delicious meals. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

I had an amazing dinner at Tappi Sushi in Tierrasanta tonight. The Spicy Garlic Edamame and the Crunchy Potato roll were incredibly delicious. The creativity behind the dishes is impressive! I'm really happy that we have this hidden gem in Tierrasanta. The only challenge I faced was choosing what to eat, as there are so many great options!

This restaurant is brand new and currently receiving Google reviews that are from the previous tenants; any feedback older than a couple of weeks is not about Tappi. That said, we dined there last night, and it’s definitely the best sushi in Tierrasanta, without a doubt. The rolls were flavorful, and the portions were generous! Our server, Gaby, was very attentive. We will definitely be returning!

I had lunch at this restaurant and found it quite warm and stuffy inside. The food was decent, although it met the expectations for Tierra Santa. However, the service felt excessively anxious. Considering the prices here aren’t exactly low, all of this adds up to an overall rating of about three stars.

Isabel was wonderful, and the food was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend Highlander.
