Spicy House - S San Diego

A bowl of rice costs two bucks, which is really bad, and the food tastes so-so. Won't go there again.

First time visitor. Ordered potstickers, pork was still pink. Ordered tofu and vegetable soup. Was only tofu and bok choy. When mentioned that I was expecting more than one type of vegetable in the soup I was told it only is served with bok choy, and if I wanted mixed vegetables, I have to order it with mixed vegetables (yet there is no mixed vegetable soup listed on the menu). The soup broth was delicious though! Willing to return and try something else. They do have an extensive and impressive menu. If it is better next time I will change my rating.

Great tasting fresh food, big lunch special portions, good service, and place is clean. will definitely go back to try more. suggested tip calculated post added tax.

Best authentic Chinese food in the area. Try their boiled (very hot sauce) dishes if you are craving comfort.

This was a really nice restaurant. My only issue with it is why the signage says China Fun, when the restaurant is clearly Spicey House? We have a China Fun in Escondido, and I've never been, but always wanted to try it. I met a friend for lunch down south today and we chose China Fun, thinking it was the same thing, but it said Spicey House on the menus and the website. As I said, it was very good, and the staff was super nice, but I still don't really know where it was that I ate today.
