Im gonna have to give you five stars because the spaghetti bowl and banana pudding was Alabama born and bred good. I like the traditional tomato sauce but what yall had was five stars. The portion size was more than generous. It was worth the price. Im traveling and dont have a kitchen or any appliances at all. So it was greatly appreciated to have home cooking done right. I hope to be back. Thank you. God bless you. Four stars because I couldnt sit down but if I told you that I have had a heart attack and cannot stand for long, Im sure I couldve been allowed by the black gentleman owner? to sit. He seemed very much a gentleman. Want to try more of your menu. Thank you for a taste of Alabama in So. Cali.

For let’s start off with saying this review is coming from an honest food critique. Came across them online which means good online presence however I got the chicken tenders and shrimp combo with two sides which are Mac and cheese and candy yams. Throw the chef away ; the Mac was dry no flavor and no cheese . The yams were not good at all (were those can) ? . I gave it two stars because it’s a waste of $35 so beware if you’re looking for home cooked grandmas cooking because San Diego ain’t it so far. The shrimp and breading in chicken were falling off from soggyness. Just a disaster I don’t recommend and won’t be back. The bread pudding was eh! Slice of bread soak it in sugar and burn the top of the sugar on the slice of bread wow ! They need to revise those ingredients because you can’t have yams and it’s taste like boiled water . Disgusting !

Always like to support local . I’ve eaten here before and the food was okay. However, today the fried fish was rancid . The smell and the taste of the fish had gone bad.Grubhub refunded me and I took the food back to let the owner know . He never apologized all he said was We bought the fish today , We bought the fish today ! Not a good experience and I will never support or recommend them again

My husband and I visited this establishment for the 1st time. We ordered the beef ribs, red beans and rice, dressing and fried shrimp today. We're vacationing here from Corona California. We would definitely visit every time we're in town.Martin family

Unseasoned, just extremely salty. Store bought potato salad. Burnt beans. Bland yams. Mac was ok. My husband and I both said “This is the worst food I’ve had in a long time”.
