Insomnia Cookies - S San Diego

I drove from Oceanside to pick up Insomia cookies. I have came here three times in the past month; the customer service isn't the best... which is why I have rated this location a 3-star. However, the cookies are good. I've had to wait for cookies to be made because they never have them on stock. The Cashier is typically in the back and doesn't greet customers when walking into the empty location. This past experience, the employee was behind the counter but seemed to be too busy scraping cookies off trays to welcome not only myself, but several other customers who came in and eventually left without ordering possibly due to the confusion. Not sure if the workload is too much for one employee to run between baking, cleaning, and serving, but it's really not that warm welcoming feeling.

Friend and I got a deluxe 5 cookies. Walnut raisin chocolate deluxe with snickerdoodle, strawberry chocolate, white chocolate macadamia, mint chocolate, and chocolate chunk. Cookies were all good but mostly not worth the price, would say try the unique flavors here like the strawberry chocolate or the deluxe ones because the more popular flavors will taste exactly like typical storebought cookies.

I came In today to purchase two 6 packs of cookies and 1 Peet's coffee. I purchased three $10 gift cards on there site yesterday. The store was unable to accept them. I nstead of declining me service, the cashier and a lady named kat went above and beyond and displayed exemplantary customer service. Kat called customer service and did everything she could in order to get my order filled using my gift cards. Ultimately they were unable to complete by order over the phone using the gift cards but did confirm on the phone that my gift cards had balance. Insomnia stated that they only allow one gift card to be used per order as the reason. Kat processed my order and gave me my cookies despite this. She took a note of the gift cards and told me that she will call insomnia to use my gift cards at a later time. I very much appreciate this act of kindness and I will definitely be returning in the near future!

The cookies are great but let me tell you about Nicole N. From Lemon Grove. She showed up to the store on short notice, opened the store and gave FANTASTIC customer service. Highly recommended and give Nicole from Lemon Grove, recently moved from Texas, a raise!

Amazing cookies! My fiancé and I love coming here! The cookies are amazing and fresh the ice cream is bomb too!
