Decent coffee, beautiful pastries, fresh orange juice and friendly locals. Worth a visit if you're close. Fantastic value for money.

Oh, my God, they have the best pastries in the world! This café/visit shop has been part of S. Martinho do Porto since the beginning of the time. A must stop when you pick up their famous TRANCAS or a PASTEL DE NATA, make sure that... take some home. Did I mention that it is in the historic district?

I spent 3 weeks in Portugal and this was the best pastelaria of all. I went there with my family every morning for very good coffee and even better pastry. I tried to taste all of them and I have never chosen wrongly. The place...has family atmosphere and the staff also speaks English. Great place!

I visited this coffee shop every morning for about a week during my stay in Sao Martinho. I got 'cafe com leite ' or coffee with milk and an espresso every morning. If you go after 9 am, be prepared to wait in a line with...a number. Service is fast and ladies speak enough English to get you what you need. All the local pastries and breads are excellent.
