Where the local go! excellent staff, girls work tirelessly to please the long queues of local and tourist. pasteis are known to be the best in the opposite. great coffee. they also bought their cheese sandwiches for on the plane back and again we were from. the quality of home baked goods blown away. if you are a food!

Unpretentious cafe and snack bar just behind the market and down from the old town. Good selection of pastries. Service very pleasant. Good place to watch the world go by.

This is the place on the market, not open on Monday, but every other day busy. underdeck seating on a terrace is ideal for dog owners and the waitress will bring out their order. coffee is very good and the pastel de nata delicious. the best we ate. the baked are all made of caffe and are consumed by local and visitors with gusto! they see that coming and going and generally adapt!
