This is a lovely, charming little cafe that offers excellent coffee at a fair price. It is beautifully decorated with a unique and quirky style. While I did not try them myself, they offer mouth-watering homemade cakes and fresh sandwiches. While there are other cafes in Oakham, I prefer to support independent coffee shops like Daily Grind over mainstream high street coffee chains.

Good for a coffee but offers very little else so if slightly prickly then you really need to look different. Staff turnover seems to be very frequent so don't expect consistency of service.

Yes, we decided that after trying a number of places in Oakham, this is the place to go for good coffee... But for me it gives a score of 5 for the speed of service. needs to be improved. In fact we'll be back tomorrow so...yes try it!
