Myddelton Grill On The Square - Ruthin

Lovely location on the square. Simple, grill based menu. Food OK, service friendly and relaxed.

Came here this evening, ordered the loaded nachoes which were amazing, loaded with chicken, cheese and dips. Partner ordered steak medium rare, the steak was so tender I didn't need a steak knife, just melted in your mouth. We had some cocktails too which were really good. Staff were lovely and really attentive nothing was not too much trouble. Would definitely go again, only rated a 4 as I would have liked a window seat, we will mention this on our next booking, as the views onto the town are lovely.

It was nice . Slightly overpriced and over rated. Don 't expect a lengthy meal experience. I asked for a decent break between courses which didn 't happen. In and out in an hour. Steak was good but slightly overcooked. Would have expected the staff to be better dressed than wearing jeans and not hear them talking nasty about other customers. A bit disappointing for my special birthday meal. Had a better experience at the Panda Chinese last night.

It's a shame because the place is lovely, but everything else.. The staff is nice but they need leadership and customer service knowledge. The food had a great presentation but it lacked in taste. I ordered ribs and they had not flavor whatsoever besides the super sweet bbq sauce they had on top. Won't come back.
