Suprema - Rutherford

The staff at this restaurant were extremely rude. When we entered a half-full establishment, we were told we needed to wait two minutes for a table, which seemed odd, but we complied. After waiting ten minutes, we inquired about some empty tables only to be informed that they were reserved for a group of ten people who hadn’t even left yet. It felt as though they didn't want us there at all. From the moment we walked in, the staff treated us poorly. It seemed like they judged us based on our appearance and decided we didn’t meet their standards as customers. I was in a sweater vest and sneakers, and perhaps that was considered too casual for their liking. I didn’t realize this was a Michelin-star restaurant with a strict dress code. The sign in the window clearly states it’s a diner, so I assumed the expectations were more relaxed. I guess I should have known that wearing dress shoes was a requirement for entering a diner.

I absolutely love this restaurant! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is fantastic. The rice balls are especially delicious. I typically get takeout from here, but today I went for lunch with a friend and tried some of the specials. They were amazing! The dessert and cappuccino were perfect as well. The food here is absolutely delicious! However, a few days ago, I called to place a take-out order and was informed by the woman on the phone that they no longer offer take-out service. I live nearby, so that would have been really convenient for me, and I was quite disappointed. Ratings: Food: 5, Service: 2, Atmosphere: 4.

We had dinner there and really enjoyed our meal. The young lady serving us was kind, helpful and sincere. The food was very good. We split an Eggplant and a carrot cake, and we were very satisfied. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

As a regular visitor of Suprema, I would definitely recommend it. I have tried several dishes here and loved all of it. I wish I had taken some photos to post here. But mussels, pasta and eggplant dish is my favorite. You can bring your own bottle as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
