Bidrage med feedbackSet within the campsite, this restaurant offers a varied menu at reasonable prices. Booking is recommended especially at weekends. The staff are friendly, the food is good and the ambience is lovely. An idyllic setting and worth a visit if in the area.
The location is nice and the service was okay (although rather hurried and aloof). Unfortunately, the food was poor. We had the plat du jour and two desserts and we didn't like any it. Perhaps we should have sticked to pizza.
This is a beautiful little gem of a pizza place. It also has a fine provincial menu of regular provincial food including lamb chops and steak. They always have an excellent daily special. It is in a beautiful setting. In the summer dinner on the patio with a backdrop of the Colorado is extraordinary. The house wine served in carafes is from a vineyard around the corner. It is more than adequate and very inexpensive. There is absolutely no reason to get anything else. The pizzas are French style, obviously. They are individual size. They are very thin. They are not overly filled with cheese. They use different cheeses. Some of them French. You might enjoy the for cheeses which includes Roquefort, rather unique for France. Certainly won't find Roquefort pizzas in Brooklyn. This is a typical French restaurant so the desserts are fabulous. In season the strawberries with whipped cream are out of this world. Ice cream is always good. Crème brûlée is exceptional. This is a pizza joint. It's not fine dining. They don't take credit cards. They don't speak that much English but there always happy to help and you won't have any problems if you don't speak French.
We had a very good time. Very good cooking. Welcome and warm service!
