Donut Shop And Bakery On The Lake

Great little donut shop! We got there a little late and the variety was pretty picked over, but that was our fault. The donuts we did get were delicious! I absolutely loved their great sign!!

Even having the rest of her teeth pulled yesterday momma wanted a donut and Baby Girl and I knew what that meant. We loaded up the car and headed to Indian Lake for the best donuts in Ohio the place never disappoints the apple fritters are amazing it’s a must go. Momma made a mess of it But said it was just soft enough.

I'm not sure what the line is about, other than it's the only place to get donuts in town.I got two donuts and asked for each to be put in a separate bag. They did that but they were icing side down. Which ended up not being a total disaster, because the icing was so sickeningly sweet, so sweet I washed off instead of licking my finger after I smeared it back on. Not impressed so far, I go ahead and take a bite (I did just spend $2 for a pretty skinny Long John). The dough was chewy and the grease it was fried in tasted older than McDonald's fries on a bad day.Great place if you're on a diet and want to say you bought a donut and didn't eat it. Otherwise, take the drive to Kroger in Bellefontaine for your craving.

Understated donut stand conveniently located next to boat slips and the main roads through town. Delicious donuts and hot cocoa to energize our family on a road trip. Beautiful area in Ohio and friendly staff. Parking lot had trash scattered around and two of the hot chocolates were all watery the first time around. Staff remade them and they were great.

I was really looking forward to this place. We showed up and had to wait at least 30 mins in line outside. The doughnuts were okay. Most were dry and small besides the apple fritter, it was large and very dry. Kind of upsetting I ordered 2 dozen to be disappointed. 2 stars for the coffee they made me, it was decent.
