Johanna and Randy are the best. The food is amazing. They both visit every table and ask how the food is and how you're doing. Amazing atmosphere. Great food. The staff are always patient with my kids which is a PLUS. Plenty of seating. It's so clean inside. No bad smell. Bathrooms are clean. This is a GREAT place for the small town of Russell, Iowa with crazy good food. Absolutely amazing prime rib on Saturday night for the special. I was headed to DM from rathbun and found this place Wow, I just wanted a burger, but the menu sounded so good, I had a double order of prime rib with mashed potatoes, they were smokey and delicious, the prime rib was perfectly medium rare and a great cut too. I will definitely make this the dinner stop for the family, they had a bar but but it was a nice family restaurant atmosphere. Kid-friendliness: More like a family restaurant with a bar than a bar.
