Marts Fish And Chips - Rushmoor

The restaurant wasn't terrible, but I was confused as to why the battered fish was served with the skin on. It's not something you would typically see (or want) up North.

The cod at this restaurant comes with the skin on and lots of bones, making it soggy and greasy. The cod roe had a weird and tangy taste, as if it was off. Overall, I was disappointed and felt like it was a waste of money as most of the dish ended up in the bin. The only redeeming quality was the chips, but even those were cold and soggy.

Cod Chips. swimming in oil. Barely edible. Never again. Everything is in the warming tray so not freshly cooked. I could go on.

The fish cake from this restaurant is the best in the local area! The chips are hot, but some may be soggy and stuck together.
