Drinks are cheap and eat is always good. and also good atmosphere.

The bottled beer was just as pricey as a pint, and I wasn't impressed with the food menu's appearance.

My daughter and I stopped by for lunch today. It took us a bit to decide what to order from the menu as everything sounded delicious. We ended up getting a sharing platter and picked out 6 items from the list. The option to customize our sharing board was a great idea, allowing us to choose items we both enjoyed. The food arrived quickly, was piping hot, freshly prepared, and looked very appetizing. Each item was flavorful, even the onion rings that I usually don't care for were surprisingly crispy with a light batter that changed my opinion. The portion size was more than enough for two people and the price was extremely reasonable. We will definitely be coming back!

The staff at this restaurant is friendly, but the atmosphere is quite dark and dingy. Adding skylights to the ceiling in the extension part would improve the ambiance. The garden has improved compared to previous years but could still use some attention. I have not tried the food, so I cannot comment on that.

Last Thursday night at Manvers, I had the best pub food I've had in a long time. I enjoyed a delicious Steak and Ale Pie followed by a scrumptious cranberry and white chocolate cheesecake. This experience restored my faith in pub food and I will definitely be back. Well done!
