The Chequers - Rushcliffe

Brilliant village pub, great atmosphere, cosy real fire, Guinness is the best around the vale of belvoir. Thursday is pizza night, 2 home made pizzas and chips for £13, great value and delicious. Sunday dinners are great value for money but you have to order in advance as they sell out every weekend. Sunday afternoon there’s a chance of free roast potatoes.

What a lovely place. We went here for the first time on Sunday. Staff were great and food was very good. Best roast beef I can remember eating! Very dog friendly. We will certainly be back, highly recommend.

Only had a beer which was good and good value. The other pub in the village was shut at 2pm!!

This place is perfect. I can't wait to visit the other two pubs as well.
